Work Capacity Assessment

As an employer, you want your employee’s reintegration to be structural and sustainable. How reintegration can best be organized will be investigated during an employment expert study.

The reintegration legislation prescribes that reintegration opportunities must be optimally utilized and investigated.  As an employment expert, I provide concrete advice per individual and per situation.

The employer receives an advisory report on the employee’s reintegration options and the steps to be taken in the context of the Gatekeeper Improvement Act.

Job analysis

Failure to implement reintegration or incorrect reintegration accounts for 85% of wage sanctions in the Netherlands (UWV, 2018). According to reintegration legislation, it is mandatory to seek opportunities within your own company, including all positions at and below the employee’s job level. This is particularly challenging for large organizations with many different roles. Through a job analysis, we jointly develop a tool to do this quickly and efficiently.

Together, we will examine the burden in every position within your organization. We will map these in the so-called “FML (Function Possibilities List)” terms. By clarifying the burden in each position, you make it much easier for the labor expert to assess positions within their own organization (track 1). This saves a lot of time and money during the reintegration process. By investing in a thorough job analysis within your company in advance, you ensure that reintegration opportunities are identified more quickly and cheaply, reducing the chance of a wage penalty.

Customized absenteeism training

Absenteeism and employability are becoming increasingly important themes in every organization. Line management is given increasing responsibility for monitoring absenteeism and reintegration. However, HR and management also play a larger role. With various types of training, I can help your organization gain control over absenteeism and promote sustainable employability. This includes customized training on the following topics:

  • Training on reintegration steps and the Gatekeeper Improvement Act based on a case study, suitable for line management in organizations that follow their own management model.
  • Training on social security legislation after 2 years of disability, suitable for HR managers and junior absenteeism case managers.
  • On-the-job training, where I assist managers one-on-one on location with tasks such as completing the Action Plan or the (first-year) evaluation.

Case management

The demand for specialist case management is increasing. An absent employee can quickly incur costs of 250 euros per day. As a registered case manager, I am a valuable addition to any organization. With extensive experience at various organizations such as occupational health and safety services, insurers, and large employers, I ensure that absenteeism is reduced sustainably by taking the right steps at the right time.
